Where every kitten feels at home
MultiCat Household tips and tricks
How it started
This story began at the end of summer when Coallie, a black cat with half tail brought her kittens to our backyard. Coallie is a very smart cat. She had never brought her kittens while they were little, she always brought food to them herself. She guarded her kittens very well. This time she made an exception, maybe because she had a litter of 7 kittens.
She had a few litters before and from all of her kittens only one is known to have survived. Mamka - the only survivor from previous litters - is spayed and currently lives on our backyard.
This time we had a chance to find them homes. We tried not to scare Coallie, so we took her kittens away one by one until only three were left. The last trio and their mom were also trapped at once.
A few weeks before, we trapped another mommy-cat with two 4 months kittens for TNR. Those kittens also ended up in our home. Once we started to take care of a gang of 9 kittens we began to call our place - Capodanno Kitten-Garten.
